Robbie Weiss to be Inducted Into ITA Hall of Fame

The former Pepperdine tennis standout will join six other players: Steven Denton/ Texas, Jim Pugh/ UCLA, Don Johnson/ North Carolina, Patrick McEnroe, Stanford, Chris Woodruff/ Tennessee, David Di Lucia/ Notre Dame and one coach, Jerry Noyce/ Minnesota and one contributor, Tom Jacobs/ Kansas, in receiving the Hall of Fame honors.
Weiss, was the 1988 NCAA Singles Champion and ITA player of the year. He was selected as an All-American his sophomore year (1986) and his senior year (1988).
After graduation, Weiss was ranked in the top 100 as a professional player.
