Carless Joins Men's Tennis Staff

“Nick did an incredible job as our volunteer assistant two years ago and was instrumental in our championship run,” said Steinberg, who will be beginning his sixth season as head coach. “He probably didn’t get enough credit, being a volunteer. He has worked in my camp for years and I know he brings great character and knowledge of the game to this position. I feel like he’s going to bring so much to the team in terms of recruiting and being on the court with our players, and he’ll really help the team get to another level. He’s a great person and is going to be a great head coach one day. I’m hoping this experience will help him get to that point.”
Carless last spent one year at Northwestern, where he was an assistant coach for the 2006-07 season.
