CARSON, Calif. - Pepperdine's Brieanna Carroll shattered her own school record in the 5000-meter run in the 2007 women's track season finale at the Pacific Coast Invitational held at the Home Depot Center.
Carroll's time of 18:05.29 led a quartet of Pepperdine runners as the Waves claimed the top four finishes in the 5000m.
Chelsey York also recorded the program's top mark in the 100m with a 12.77-second finish, bettering her previous time of 12.84 set a week ago.
The meet was the final event for the women's track team which started competing in 2006. This year's team set a school record in every event it competed in during the season.
