SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Pepperdine women’s basketball standout Daphanie Kennedy was selected as the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.

 

Kennedy (Oakland, Calif. / Kearney HS) scored 27 points against UCLA last Wednesday (Nov .28) to lead the Waves to a 91-79 win. She also recorded a .471 shooting percentage and had seven assists.

 

The senior guard became the 16th player in Pepperdine history to surpass the 1,000-career point level during the UCLA game. Kennedy finished the game with 1010-career points.
