Waves Close out Track Season at UCSD

MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's track team closed out its inaugural season over the weekend as Lauren Carfioli and Brieanna Carroll competed at the Triton Invitational in La Jolla, Calif.
Carfioli (Cota de Casa, Calif.) posted a 2:33.48 finish in her section of the 800-meter run. The time was her second-fastest clocking in the two-lap race this season, bettered by only a 2:31.14 showing on April 8.
Carroll (Beaverton, Ore.) recorded a 5:19.62 finish in the 1500m her third best time in the race this year. She concludes the track season as Pepperdine's record holder in both the 1500 and 5000m runs.
