MALIBU, Calif. - After starting the 2004-05 season with a pair of losses on the road, the Pepperdine women's basketball team will face Cal State Fullerton on the first day of the Four Points LAX Turkey Shoot-out at Firestone Fieldhouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (PT) and will follow the tournament opener which will see East Carolina take on Montana.
Pepperdine (0-2) is led by forwards Jennifer Lacy and Teiosha George. Lacy scored a team-high 13 points against Kansas State in the Waves' last outing and is averaging 8.5 on the season. George pulled down 13 rebounds against the Wildcats to lead Pepperdine and is averaging 9.5 per game in the early goings.
The Titans enter the weekend with an 0-2 record as well after falling to Nevada and Loyola Marymount last weekend in Reno.
