PEPPERDINE 2016: Was the only Wave to start and play in all 118 sets of the 30 matches in 2016 … Averaged 3.58 digs/set and totaled 422 digs for the team … Posted 0.85 assists (100) and 0.13 aces (15) … Led the team in digs in 20 matches and aces in seven … Posted double-figure digs 23 times and had over 20 digs on two separate occasions … Ranks 8th all-time for tabbing 422 digs in a single season.
USA VOLLEYBALL/CLUB: Earned a spot on the US Women’s Volleyball National College Roster in Anaheim, Calif. … Played for Ka Ulukoa Volleyball Club for six years and Maunalani Volleyball Club and IMUA for one season each … With IMUA, the team finished 2nd at the Junior Opens, Anaheim Qualifers, Dream Team Reno Qualifiers and she was named All-Tournament Team Junior Open New Orleans in 2015 … Lishman was also picked to the Junior Olympics All-Tournament Team in 2015.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2016 … Lettered three seasons as an outside hitter in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu under Head Coach Tanya Fuamatu-Anderson … In her senior campaign, earned All-ILH first team honors and was named Fab15 and an Impact Player of the Game … In her junior season, Punahou earned a Hawaii State Championship title and Lishman was named the Ann Kang Tournament MVP … In her sophomore year, the school earned the Ann Kang Tournament crown and in her freshman outing the team earned Junior Varsity Champion status.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Wendi and Kyle Lishman … Has two siblings, a brother Cheynne and sister Alyssa … Stated that she chose Pepperdine for “great education, awesome coaching staff and teammates” and that “Pepperdine has an outstanding program for both athletics and academics” … When asked what she loves most about volleyball she said: “What I love most about volleyball is the teamwork and leadership it teaches me. It not only teaches me those important aspects, but other important ones that I need in my everyday life such as hard-work, motivation, determination, perseverance and much more.”
