Pepperdine class of 2021 graduate Olivia Reins returned to Malibu in May 2024 after spending a year as the University of Nevada's Assistant Recruiting Coordinator.
At Nevada, Reins served as the marketing liaison, oversaw team managers, worked closely with Nevada's director of basketball operations and helped compile scouting reports. Prior to Nevada, Reins served as a graduate assistant coach at Division II Concordia University Irvine in her first postgraduate coaching role. The Golden Eagles finished third in the PacWest Conference and were the runner-up at the PacWest Conference Tournament during Reins' year in Irvine.
Reins got her start working in athletics at Pepperdine, where she was part of the athletic facilities and events staff for three years. Reins earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Pepperdine in 2021 and her master's degree in coaching and exercise sciences from CUI.
