Former Pepperdine water polo player Tommy Briskey rejoined the program in August 2022 as the volunteer assistant coach.

The Orinda, California native played for the Waves in 2010 and 2011 as an attacker, helping the Waves to 21 wins over his two seasons.

Briskey entered the college coaching ranks in 2021 as an assistant coach with Diablo Valley College. He was the head coach with the Lamorinda Water Polo Club from 2009-15.

Briskey graduated from Pepperdine in 2013 with a degree in advertising. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in coaching and exercise science from Concordia University Irvine and will graduate in December 2022.
