PEPPERDINE 2018-19:  Achieved WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll (bronze) status and named a Pepperdine Scholar Athlete … Competed in 11 singles matches and six  doubles matches as a senior … Named the Outstanding Student for Organizational Communication.


PEPPERDINE 2017-18:  Had two singles win during his junior year  Went 5-7 in doubles, including two WCC doubles wins with partner Yusuf Khamis.

PEPPERDINE 2016-17: Competed in five singles matches and two doubles matches as a sophomore.

PEPPERDINE 2015-16: Earned Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete accolades ... Competed in seven singles matches and five doubles matches for the Waves as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Fusion Academy ... Also attended Calabasas High School from 2011-13 ... Earned four varsity letters ... Only freshman to start on varsity ... Named First League All-Doubles and Second League All-Singles in freshman and sophomore campaigns ... In freshman season, helped lead team to League Champions stats ... Awarded Hardest Worker on the team ... In U-16, made main draw in sectionals ... Attended Sanchez Casal Tennis Academy in Barcelona, Spain for three weeks and made finals of the Juniors Tennis Tournament outside of the Academy ...¦ Also played club basketball, winning six championships throughout California ... Also competed in Karate, winning his first competition in 2003.

PERSONAL: Son of Barry and Sharon Garapedian ... One sister Melissa ... Majoring in Communications ... Sister Melissa (Missy) also attended Pepperdine ... Thing he loves most about tennis is that "tennis is the hardest sport in the world, not only physically, but mentally.  It reveals your true identity.  No one else is out there except for you and YOU are the one that decides the outcome of the match." ... Chose Pepperdine because he has "always held Pepperdine University in the highest regard.  Going to school at the most beautiful campus in the world is just a small reason for the choice.  Positive vibes, great professors, down-to-earth students and an elite tennis program are the main reasons I chose Pepperdine.  I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to go to college here."
