Michael Wexler transitioned from student-athlete to graduate manager for the Pepperdine men’s basketball team upon his graduation in December 2020. He’ll be in his second season in that role in 2021-22.

He’s currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership. He graduated in 3 1/2 years with a degree in business administration.

Wexler appeared in 13 games for the Waves during his tenure. His first career basket came in his final appearance against Concordia on December 16, 2020.

An excellent student, Wexler was named to the NABC Honors Court in 2019-20 and made the lists for WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete in each of his four seasons. He attended the West Coast Conference’s Student-Athlete Leadership Summit in June 2018.

A native of Plymouth, Minn., Wexler attended Benilde-St. Margaret’s School.
