PEPPERDINE XC 2023 (SO): Competed in two races for Pepperdine ... Was Pepperdine's eighth runner at the LMU South Bay Twilight (9/1) ... Ran her season-best 5K time of 21:58.5 at the UC Riverside Invitational open race (9/16).
 
PEPPERDINE XC 2022 (FR): Competed in four of the six races … Had a season-best 5K in a time of 21:28.7 at the UC Riverside Invitational (9/17) … Had a season-best 6K in a time of 25:39.1 at the Bronco Invitational (10/15).  
 
PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2023 (FR): Competed in three of the nine meets … Ran the 1,500 meters twice and the 800 meters once … Had a season-best 1,500 meters in a time of 5:41.78 at the Vince O’Boyle Track and Field Classic (4/1) … Ran the 800 meters at the Oxy Distance Carnival and Spring Break Classic (3/11) in a time of 2:46.25.
 
PEPPERDINE INDOOR TRACK 2023 (FR): Competed in all three indoor meets … Ran the 800 meters three times and was a part of the 4x400 meter relay team … Had an indoor season-best in the 800 meters in a time of 2:40.74 at the MPSF Championships (2/17).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Saugus High School, located in Santa Clarita, Calif., in 2022 … Ran cross country and track all four years of high school … Earned All-League first team honors in 2021 … Finished the Foothill League finals with a 2:44.19 personal record in the 800 meters … A four-year scholar-athlete … Also lettered in swimming.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in sport administration ... Born in Valencia, Calif. … Daughter of Jason and Mary Hartung … Sister to Megan, Cara and Tyler … Chose Pepperdine because of “its excellent reputation academically and athletically. I am very excited to be working closely with qualified professors and being so close to the beach.”
 
FAVORITES: Enjoys going hiking, thrift shopping and exploring random beaches or lookouts … Favorites include the Seattle Seahawks (pro team), They Both Die in the End (book), La La Land (movie), Gilmore Girls (TV show), anything surf rock (music), barbecue ribs (food) and swimming and mountain biking (sports other than running) … Favorite thing about running is “the challenge of every practice and the bond of the team as we all work to become faster and stronger together.”
