Played three years of varsity under coach Dave Barrett … Over his career, compiled a .290 batting average, a .440 OBP, 50 stolen bases and 64 runs scored … During his senior year, had a .302 average, a .455 OBP and a school-record 29 stolen bases … Was awarded Team MVP, as well as All-Valley League second team.

PERSONAL: Son of Josefina Estrada and Gabriel Sandoval… Has three siblings, Elias Sandoval, Karina Vargas and Yuri Rubalcava … Majoring in psychology.
