PEPPERDINE 2023-24: Enjoyed the best season of her career in her first season in Malibu ... Started in 20 of the 29 games in which she played ... Averaged 4.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game ... Recorded the first of her four double-figure outings with a 10 point, four rebound, four assist statline against Caltech ... Was one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points, nine rebounds and two blocks against Cal State Bakersfield (12/16) ... Led the team with 10 points on 4-for-8 shooting against Santa Clara (1/18) ... Scored a career-high 12 points on 6-for-9 shooting against Saint Mary's (3/2) ... Tied her season high with nine rebounds, plus added five points and a block against San Diego in the WCC Championships (3/7).
XAVIER: Played for Xavier University for three seasons ... Appeared in 48 games for the Musketeers and averaged 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game ... Single-game career highs include 11 points (vs. Butler, 12/29/21), 10 rebounds (vs. Butler, 12/29/21), three blocks (twice) and two steals (vs. Butler, 12/29/21) ... In the classroom, Harkey was an All-Big East Academic Team selection and she made the CSC Academic All-District Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Northwest Guilford High School, located in Greensboro, N.C., in 2020 ... Helped Northwest Guilford win back-to-back 4A state titles and have an 81-10 record in three seasons ... Won three Metro 4A Conference Championships and three HAECO Tournament Championships ... Outside basketball, Harkey was the editor-in-chief of her high school's newspaper, the NW Horizons News, which earned best-in-state honors twice.
CLUB: Played for the Carolina Dynasty Diamonds and the Carolina Gaters AAU teams ... Helped her team win the 2019 Battle of the Boro Tournament in Kentucky.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Eric Harkey ... Has two siblings, Jessica and Mikayla ... Plans on majoring in marketing ... Career goal is to become either a marketing analyst or a green marketer ... Chose Pepperdine because "It has amazing academics and is an amazing place to go to school. I love a small school environment and there are a lot of opportunities to study abroad."
