Max Fecske

Max Fecske

Max Fecske is in his third season with the Pepperdine baseball team in 2022. He served as a graduate manager in 2020 and 2021 and is now a volunteer assistant coach.  
 
Before beginning his coaching career, Fecske played collegiate baseball with Glendale College before transferring to Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. 
 
In his freshman campaign, Fecske helped contribute to the Vaqueros’ third consecutive Western State Conference Championship, a CCCAA Regional win and a CCCAA Super Regional berth.
 
In his sophomore season at Webster University, Fecske was an All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference selection while manning left field for the Gorloks. Fecske was a part of their 10th consecutive SLIAC conference championship, an NCAA Division III Central Regional championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III National Championship.
 
Following his graduation, Fecske began his coaching career by spending two seasons at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., where he coached a first-round draft pick, two All-Americans and a MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year. Fecske helped the Knights win the Mission League in 2017, and garner national attention as Baseball America’s No. 1 ranked team in the country from February to April in 2018.
 
In 2019, Fecske was a graduate manager under Greg Moore at CSUN, where his primary responsibilities included video coordination. That summer, Fecske coached in the NorthWoods League before enrolling in the master's program in American studies at Pepperdine. 
 
Fecske was born and raised in Studio City, Calif. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2012. His sister, Paige, was a four-year starter on the Pepperdine women’s basketball team and is a member of the 1,000 point club.
