PEPPERDINE CAREER: Has played in 73 matches with 32 starts in her three years as a Wave, having played in 230 total sets … Has amassed 1.77 kills/set on a .200 clip, posting 407 total kills on 1,057 swings … Tallied 93 total blocks, including two solo rejections to average 0.40 blocks/set … Has produced 0.46 digs/set after putting up 105 digs … Marked double-figure digs in 13 matches in her career … Put in a career-best 16 kills against Saint Mary’s (11/4/12) and .667 hitting percentage at Portland (10/23/21) … Marked a career-high seven blocks against San Francisco (11/18/21).
PEPPERDINE 2022: Competed in 27 matches for Pepperdine, including eight starts and 63 sets played… Tabbed 85 kills on a .205 clip… Recorded three matches with double-digit kills, and had a season-best 11 kills against Pacific (11/05) ... Tallied 18 blocks and 24 digs… Posted a .500 hitting percentage against Gonzaga (10/22).
PEPPERDINE 2021: Appeared in 28 matches for the Waves, including 104 sets… Started in 22 matches… Recorded 199 kills, averaging 1.92 a set… Tallied 45 blocks… Had a season-best 13 kills against Saint Mary’s (10/09) ... Posted six matches with double-figure kills… Marked a season-high seven blocks against San Francisco (11/18) and five digs at Cal Poly (9/12).
PEPPERDINE 2020: Competed in 18 of the Waves 21 matches, including 81 total sets … Started in two matches … Tallied 123 kills on a .202 clip to average 1.95 kills/set … Marked 0.48 blocks and 0.56 digs per set … Posted five matches with double-figure kills and led the Waves in hitting percentage twice and blocks once … Tallied a season-best 15 kills against San Francisco (1/27) … Marked a season-high six blocks against Pacific (2/16) and six digs at Portland (3/12). *The 2020 season was played in the Spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
CLUB: Competed at the A1 Red Junior National Team in 2019 and helped her team place fourth at High Performance Nationals … Played for 18 Black Front Range in 2019-20, 17 Silver, 16 Blue and 15 White Front Range from 2016-19 … Also played for 14 Peak Elevation from 2015-16 … In her 18’s year, led her squad to a third-place finish at the 18 Open at Northern Lights Qualifier and was the #1 18’s team in RMR … In her 17’s year, led the team to a third-place finish at the 17 Open at Kansas City Qualifier and was the #1 17’s team in the RMR … At 16’s, won a national bid at the RMR qualifier and at 15’s, won an American bid at the RMR qualifier.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Chaparral High School in Parker, Colo. in 2020 … Lettered three seasons on varsity as a utility player under Head Coach Amanda West for CHS in the Continental Conference … Throughout her career, amassed 276 sets played, 486 kills, 106 total blocks, 476 digs and 128 aces … In her senior season, garnered All-League first team and All-State first team honors … She was an UnderArmour All-American honorable mention recipient and made the All-Tournament Team at the Regis Jam and was a member of the CCGS All-State Team … In her junior season, she earned All-League first team and All-State second team honors … As a sophomore, she made All-League second team … Throughout her time at CHS, she helped lead the team to League Champions in 2018 and 2019, a first place finish at State in 2019 and a second place finish at State in 2018 … In 2019, her squad finished ranked #24 nationally … Also earned a spot on the honor roll in every semester of high school.
PERSONAL: Majoring in sport administration … Daughter of Brett and Maria Ammerman … Has seven siblings: Ryan, Sarah, Luke, Dalton, Hannah, Sebastian and Mary … Her father Brett played basketball and club volleyball at Purdue and her mother played volleyball at the University of Alaska Anchorage … Brother Ryan played at UC Irvine, earning All-American first team honors and helping the Anteaters to a 2009 NCAA Title, while also playing professionally oversees … Sister Sarah was an All-American first teamer while playing volleyball at Texas A&M and played professionally oversees … Brother Luke played volleyball for Orange Coast Community College and her brother Dalton played volleyball at Long Beach State and professionally oversees … Sister Hannah currently plays volleyball for UC Colorado Springs … When asked why she chose Pepperdine, she stated: “I loved the atmosphere and the positive culture that was not only relayed to me by the team, but also by the coaching staff. Everyone had a growth mindset and I could tell they wanted to get better in the gym every day. I have always been driven in the classroom as well, so getting a great degree at a challenge school was very important to me. Pepperdine met all those standards.”
