PEPPERDINE 2020: Played in 19 matches and 80 sets in her first season in the navy and orange, primarily serving as a defensive specialist … Marked 10 aces and 17 assists … Also amassed 119 total digs to average 1.70 digs/set … Posted 202 total serve receptions with only 15 errors for a .925 service reception percentage … Led the Waves in service aces in two matches and posted double-figure digs in three separate matches … Tallied a season-high 13 digs against BYU (2/24) and four aces at Saint Mary’s (2/3). *The 2020 season was played in the Spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
CSU CHICO/FEATHER RIVER COLLEGE: Attended CSU Chico and Feather River College from 2017-20, playing on season for each … At FRC, she garnered All-Conference, All-State, All-American honors, while being named MVP of the Golden Valley Conference … She played in 127 sets with 83 aces, 638 digs and 82 assists during her time there … Joyce also helped CSU Chico to a CCCAA Women’s State Championship title … Also played basketball for the Wildcats … In the classroom, she received All-Academic honors and was on the Dean’s List.
 
CLUB: Played for Blackout and Canyon.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif. in 2017 … Lettered four seasons on varsity as a setter, libero and outside under Head Coach John Mitchell in the Eastern Athletic League … In her senior season, earned All-League and Max Preps All-American honors, while being tabbed MVP of the Eastern Athletic League … As a junior, was named All-League and was the Pleasant Valley Tournament MVP … In her sophomore campaign, named All-League and PVHS Tournament MVP … Helped PVHS to Eastern Athletic League Championships and NSCIF Championships in 2014, 15, 16 and 17 … Helped lead the squad to a Nike Tournament title in Arizona in 2016 … Also played basketball for four years and earned All-League honors.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in sociology … Daughter of Dina and Scott Joyce … Has three siblings, Kristina, Makenna and Ned … Father Scott played baseball at CSU Chico … When asked why she chose Pepperdine, she stated: “The culture that Coach Wong has created is something I am looking for in a program and their successes within the West Coast Conference is something I want to be a part of.”
