PEPPERDINE 2018: Earned a spot at the U.S. National Tryout in Colorado Springs, Colo. … Was one of three Waves to play and start in all 31 matches, playing in 110 total sets of the 111 sets available in her sophomore season … Posted a team-high 3.31 kills/set, marking 364 kills and 138 errors on 1,012 swings for a .223 clip … Added 2.98 digs/set, ranking second on the team with 328 total digs … Tabbed 0.38 blocks/set and 0.25 aces/set with 42 blocks including one solo and 28 aces throughout the season … Amassed 413.5 total points to average 3.76 points/set … Marked 14 double-doubles in kills and digs, including a season-high 26 kills and 20 digs at Pacific (11/3/18) … Put up 19 double-figure kill matches, with three hitting more than 20 kills … Posted 21 double-figure digs with one above 20 digs … Led the Waves in kills in 14 matches, digs in 11 matches, aces in six, hitting percentage in five and blocks twice … Marked a season-high .500 success rate on the attack with 16 kills and one error on 30 swings against Gonzaga (11/15/18) … Had a season-best four aces against Missouri State (9/7/18) and four blocks against Santa Clara (10/25/18).
UNIVERSITY OF UTAH: Played one season in the Pac-12 under Head Coach Beth Launiere at Utah … She played in 128 sets and charted 32 kills, 28 assists, 25 aces, 295 digs and started in 33-of-34 matches … She led the team in serve receive percentage and service aces … Recorded her first collegiate double-double against Utah Valley with 15 kills and 13 digs … Helped her team to a NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance and a 4th place finish in the Pac-12 in 2017 … She was an “All A’s” Recognition Recipient in the 2017 fall semester.
CLUB/USA: Played for Tstreet Volleyball Club from 2013-17 … Helped the team to 3rd place in the Open Division at Junior Olympics with 16’s and 18’s teams and was selected to the All-Tournament squad on both occasions … Her 15’s Tstreet team finished 5th at the Open Division at Junior Olympics … She was selected to the SCVA High Performance in 2014 and finished 4th.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif. in 2017 … Lettered four seasons under Head Coach Dan O’Dell as an outside hitter at MDHS in the Trinity League … Throughout her career, played in 333 sets, marking 1,084 kills on a .282 success rate, 126 blocks, 1,049 digs and 89 aces … In her senior season, earned All-Trinity League first team, All-CIF Team honors, Mater Dei Varsity MVP and Mater Dei Varsity Andi Collins Award … She was nominated for Gatorade Player of the Year and earned Dave Moh’s Tournament MVP honors … She was a PrepVolleyball All-American first teamer, MaxPreps All-American third teamer and earned a spot on the California Challenge All-Tournament Team … She was an Orange Country Register All-County first team honoree, MaxPreps California All-State first teamer, FloVolleyball All-American second team honors … She earned UnderArmour All-American third team acclaim, Volleyball Magazine All-American second team honors and CaliHiSports.com All-State first team accolades … She was also All-Trinity League first team in her sophomore and junior seasons and in her junior season alone garnered Mater Dei Varsity MVP, Orange County Register All-County first team honors, along with spots on Santa Barbara and Ann Kang All-Tournament Teams … She helped her team to CIF Southern Section 1AA Champion status in 2015 and runner-up honors in 2013, 2014 and 2017 … Her team earned Trinity League Co-Champions in 2013 and 2014 … On the academic side, she graduated with Exceptional Merit and was a member of the National Honor Society from 2014-17, she earned California Scholarship Federation status from 2013-17, she was part of Renaissance in 2016-17 and was a member of the Associated Student Body from 2013-16.
PERSONAL: Majoring in communication studies … Daughter of Tom and Karil Scully … Has three siblings, Tommy, Mary and Matthew … Wants to work in the sports apparel industry … Her father Tom played men’s soccer (1977-81) at Allegheny College and her cousins Emily Sciorra and Mary Cate Scully played women’s volleyball at Penn State (2016-present) and cross country at the US Naval Academy (2013-17) respectively … Chose to transfer to Pepperdine because “it has the perfect combination of strong academics, great athletics and a picturesque setting.
