RECORDS WATCH: Ahrens became the new Pepperdine women’s volleyball career record holder for most aces in a single season during the rally scoring era with 49 aces in the 2019 season … Her 0.45 aces/set ranks 2nd in the single-season record books for best aces/set output in the rally scoring era, while her 0.37 career aces/set output currently leads the Pepperdine career record books.
 
PEPPERDINE CAREER: After three seasons with the Waves, has played in 72 matches and earned 60 starts in the navy and orange … Hit her 100 career ace milestone against #12 Baylor in the NCAA Championship second round (4/15/21) She has amassed 0.38 aces/set in her career, currently leading the Pepperdine women’s volleyball career record books … In 265 sets played, she has posted 102 total aces, while adding 165 total blocks and 264 digs … Has amassed four career double-doubles in kills and digs, along with 48 double-figure kill matches … Posted a career-best 27 kills against Gonzaga at home on March 6, 2021 … Has added double-figure digs on five occasions … Led the team with in kills in 31 matches, hitting percentage on 13 occasions, blocks in 12 matches and aces 21 times.
 
PEPPERDINE 2020: One of six Waves to have played and started in all 21 matches and 81 sets … Led the WCC with 4.42 kills/set (358), while also leading with 0.44 aces/set (36) and 5.13 points/set (415) … Marked a .257 hitting percentage, while also averaging 1.26 digs and 0.51 blocks per set … Amassed two double-doubles and had double-figure kill matches in all 21 matches, including four with over 20 kills … Tallied two matches with double-figure digs … Led the squad in kills in 17 of the 21 matches, as well as aces in 10 matches and blocks and hitting percentage in three matches … Posted a season-high 27 kills against Gonzaga at home on March 6 … Had a season-best five aces twice, first against Gonzaga on March 5 and then against LMU on March 20. *The 2020 season was played in the Spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
PEPPERDINE 2019: One of six Waves to play in all 29 matches with 25 starts, seeing action in 113 of the season’s 114 total sets … Led the team with 49 aces, a Pepperdine women’s volleyball program record, while also leading the squad with 0.43 aces/set throughout the season … Second of the Waves with 291 kills for 2.58 kills/set and third with 75 blocks and 0.66 blocks/set … Posted a .229 hitting percentage, while averaging 0.62 digs (70) and totaling 381.5 points … Amassed 15 double-figure kill matches and led the Waves in kills seven times, hitting percentage four times, blocks in six matches and aces nine times … Posted a season-high 17 kills at North Texas on Aug. 30 and a .500 hitting percentage on two occasions with the last being at Saint Mary’s  on Sep. 19 …. She posted an impressive six aces twice, with the last against San Diego on Oct. 24 and added six blocks at San Diego on Oct. 1.
 
PEPPERDINE 2018: Played in 22 matches with 17 starts, including action in 71 sets throughout her true freshman campaign … Third on the team with 3.17 kills/set after marking 225 smashes and 76 errors on 501 swings for a .297 success rate … Tabbed 0.24 aces/set (17), 1.30 digs/set (92) and 0.68 blocks/set (48) … Finished the season with 3.75 points/set (266.0) … posted two double-doubles in 2018 in kills and digs … Marked 13 matches with double-figure kills and three with double-figure digs … Led the Waves in kills seven times, hitting percentage six times, blocks three times, aces twice and digs once … Marked a season-high 20 kills and .531 hitting percentage (20-3-32) at San Francisco on Sep. 27 … Put up a season-high 11 digs against Butler  on Aug. 25 and Idaho on Aug. 31 … Added a season-best six blocks at Gonzaga on Sep. 22 and three aces against Pacific on Oct. 4.
 
CLUB: Played for A4 Volley from ages 15-18 and with Tstreet from ages nine-14 … In 2018, earned 1st place in SCVQ and 5th at the Triple Crown … In 2017, garnered AAU Academic All-American honors, a spot on PrepVolleyball’s Top 100 Senior Ace List and a spot on the JVA All-National Team … She was also John Tawa’s pick for All-American honorable mention honors in the 18 Division … She was honored on the Junior Open’s All-Tournament Team and helped her team to a 1st place finish in JVA regional, SCVA qualifier and the Northern California qualifier … Led her team to a 2nd place finish at the Triple Crown and a 5th place finish at Junior Open’s … In 2014 and 2-15, she earned Junior Open All-Tournament Team honors as well.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Tesoro High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. in 2018 … Played two years as an outside hitter in the South Coast Conference at Tesoro HS under Head Coach Rich Polk … Earned All-League honorable mention and most improved player as a freshman … Garnered Torch of Excellence award in English in 2015 and spots on the honor roll after all four years.  
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in communication studies … Daughter of Kurt and Julia Ahrens … Has one younger brother Kyle … Her grandmother Anna Hogan attended Pepperdine … Her grandfather Wayne Ahrens played football at Arizona State, her mother Julia played basketball at Scottsdale Community College and her other grandfather Charles Handley played basketball and baseball at University of Nevada, Reno … Stated “with gorgeous views, amazing coaches and teammates and being close to home, playing volleyball for Pepperdine was something I did not want to miss out on,” as the reason she chose Pepperdine.
