Men's Golf Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine men's golf and head coach Michael Beard announced the 2026-27 schedule this afternoon.

It will be the program's 46th season and Beard's 15th at the helm.

The blue and orange will tee off the campaign on September 12 at the Sahalee Player Championship, hosted by Washington. Last season, Pepperdine finished in 7th place out of 12. The tournament is a short two-day event and marks the first of four fall tournaments. With three of the four being in September, the busy month rolls on with the Fighting Illini Invitational, hosted by Illinois, from September 18-20.

Pepperdine will once again visit Fort Worth, Texas for the Ben Hogan Collegiate, hosted by TCU. The Waves slotted inside the top five as a team last year out of 15 squad thanks to a solid outing from Willy Walsh, who tied for second after scoring one-under. Rounding out the fall slate is the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech. Mahanth Chirravuri and Brady Siravo, who both graduated, led the way with 2nd and 9th place finishes, respectively. Chirravuri shot a remarkable nine-under to pace the Waves.

Looking ahead to the new year, Pepperdine will have three months to prepare for the start of 2027, when the Waves host the 48th Southwestern Invitational at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, California. The Waves took care of its home field advantage and claimed the team victory last season after scoring 11-under. More information on the Southwestern Invitational will be available at a later date.

Next on the docket is the Ameri Ari Invitational in Waimea, Hawaii, where Chirravuri had set a program-record 11-under in the first round this past season, pacing Pepperdine to a seventh place finish. The Las Vegas Collegiate ensues at the TPC Summerlin golf course before Pepperdine heads a couple of hours north to Ivins, Utah for the Black Desert Collegiate.

The Waves will visit Stanford to compete at The Goodwin before rounding out the regular season with a challenging tournament at the 80th Western Intercollegiate. One of the highest-regarded collegiate golf tournaments in the country, the Waves will have an opportunity to dazzle in front of a national television audience.

Pepperdine's postseason push begins with the West Coast Conference Championships, which are slated from April 30-May 2 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon.

The Waves will seek to improve upon its 16th-place finish at the NCAA Championships behind a nine-man roster that returns five from last season, headlined by Walsh. The rising senior placed in a four-way tie for 10th overall individually at the NCAA Championships this past spring. Byungho Lee, Carson Kim, Luke Dariotis, and Oscar Bach are the other returners while the Waves bring in a trio of freshmen, including Ayden Fynaut, Luke Ringkamp, and Kailer Stone. The blue and orange added only one player through the transfer portal, picking up Antoine Jasmin from Oregon State. Jasmin helped the Beavers reach the WCC Championship round last season against the Waves and faced off against Carson Kim as part of match play.
