
Water Polo’s 2026 West Coast Conference Schedule Announced

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Pepperdine water polo's 2026 West Coast Conference (WCC) schedule was announced today by the WCC.
The Waves will have seven conference matchups this fall, with four coming in Malibu at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool, running from October 2nd through November 8th. The WCC has a new look this season following the departure of California Baptist, as Saint Mary's and UC Davis enter their first season in the league.
Entering the fourth season of the WCC sponsoring men's water polo, the Waves have posted a 13-5 record in WCC play, winning the 2023 regular season championship and reaching the WCC semifinals in all three campaigns so far.
The WCC schedule begins for the Waves against crosstown foe LMU, as the Waves welcome the Lions on Friday, Oct. 2. Pepperdine will then head east for a road tilt at Air Force on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The next three conference matchups will come at home, beginning with Santa Clara (Oct. 17) and San Jose State (Oct. 18) making the trip to Malibu on consecutive days. Pepperdine will then host UC Davis on Friday, Oct. 30.
The Waves will head north to close out the conference slate in November, with road matchups set with Saint Mary's (Nov. 6) and Pacific (Nov. 8).
The non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date, along with game times, ticketing information and promotions.

ABOUT PEPPERDINE WATER POLO
Pepperdine water polo has seen success spanning decades under Terry Schroeder who gave the reins to Merrill Moses following the 2023 season. Highlighted by its national championship in 1997 with Moses as the starting goalie, the Waves have reached the NCAA Tournament on 13 occasions and recently won the inaugural WCC Regular Season Championship in 2023. Overall, the program has seen 67 athletes garner All-American honors while boasting a winning record in 37 of 51 seasons.
