Choi also collected an individual win at the Fresno State Classic and was fourth at the Yale Invitational West. The sophomore was named to the WCC All-Academic Team as well following the regular season.
Kylee Choi earned WCC Freshman of the Year following a top-5 finish at the WCC Championship. Choi logged six top-10 finishes throughout her freshman campaign, solidifying her season as one of the top in the nation among first-years.
In addition, Laurie Gibbs earned WCC Coach of the Year honors for the 17th time in her storied career. Gibbs was also named to the WGCA National Coach of the Year Watch List earlier this week, as one of 20 finalists for the award.Â
The senior duo of Jeneath Wong and Yingzhi Zhu along were each WCC All-Conference honorees, while sophomore Grace Anderson tabbed honorable mention, marking all five Waves in the lineup receiving postseason accolades from the conference.
