SAN BRUNO, Calif. -Â No. 15 Pepperdine men's golf received a pair of major awards from the West Coast Conference (WCC) with three Waves named to the All-Conference Team, announced today by the conference.
Â
Senior Mahanah Chirravuri earned WCC Player of the Year while Michael Beard received WCC Coach of The Year following Pepperdine's conference title run.
Â
Chirravuri also charted a spot on the All-Conference Team alongside Brady Siravo and Willy Walsh. In this decade, Pepperdine has a Player of the Year in all but two years (2020 and 2024), with Chirravuri going back-to-back after winning Co-Player of the Year in 2025.
Â
Beard racked up his seventh Coach of the Year accolade, previously winning in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. It marks the 14th time a Waves head coach has garnered the honor.
Chirravuri has led the Waves this season with top-20 finishes in 11 of 12 tournaments dating back to the fall. This includes a runner-up finish at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in October and a third-place showing at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational. He helped pace the Waves at the WCC Championship with a fourth-place individual finish in stroke play while earning a match play win in the semifinal against Augusta. Chirravuri is currently ranked No. 11 in the Scoreboard individual rankings and No. 9 in the PGA TOUR U rankings, and was named one of 15 finalists on the Haskins Award Postseason Watch List.
Siravo earns all-conference recognition for the third consecutive season as a key member of Pepperdine's lineup once again. He posted five top-10 finishes this season, including a win at the Sahalee Players Championship and runner-up finish at the Southwestern Invitational to lead the Waves to the team title. He went on to log a top-5 finish at the WCC Championship while winning both of his match play fixtures against Augusta and Oregon State. Siravo is currently ranked No. 42 in the Scoreboard individual rankings and No. 21 in the PGA TOUR U rankings.
Walsh also lands on the WCC All-Conference Team for the third straight campaign, earning four top-10 finishes throughout the season. He posted a runner-up finish at the Ben Hogan Collegiate and a third place finish at the Desimone Invitational, with his spring culminating in a 12th-place individual finish at the WCC Championship. Walsh went on to win both of his match play fixtures to help the Waves capture the WCC title. The junior is currently ranked No. 43 in the Scoreboard individual rankings.
Beard led the Waves to their 24th WCC title in program history and seventh under his watch, as Pepperdine has now claimed back-to-back conference titles. The Waves have also now reached their 29th NCAA Regional appearance, and 10th consecutive under Beard. Pepperdine has been ranked top-15 nationally throughout the entire season, as the Waves earned four top-5 team finishes while playing against top competition throughout. The Waves earned the team victory at the Southwestern Invitational to begin the spring as the season culminated in taking home the WCC Championship. Â
Â
With exception to 2020 (global pandemic), the trio of Chirravuri, Siravo, and Walsh continue a streak since 2017 that Pepperdine has at least three All-Conference Team members.
The All-Conference Team and major awards were selected solely by the league's 12 head coaches. The honorable mention selections are individuals who finished among the top 10 in the West Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship that were not selected to the All-Conference Team.
