DAN IS THE MAN
Graduate infielder
Daniel Patterson blasted his team-leading third home run of the season last Tuesday at Cal Poly and currently paces the Waves with a .276 batting average, 11 runs, 58 at-bats, and 8 RBI. He popped 13 home runs in 2025 and 18 in 2024.
LET HIM COOK
Sophomore
Danny Cook crushed two home runs on Friday against Michigan, marking a new season-high and his first multi-home run game of his career.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
Two of Pepperdine's three wins this season have both come in walk-off fashion at home. On Saturday 2/28 versus Yale,
Daniel Patterson walked off the Bulldogs in the 10th inning of a 4-3 win. This past Friday, the Waves walked-off Michigan in the bottom of the ninth on a
Danny Cook solo home run.
KAM I AM
Junior pitcher
Kam Croghan has been solid out of the bullpen for the Waves. In 6.2 innings of work, he has surrendered just four hits, three runs (all earned), and sat down seven while walking one. His 0.75 WHIP is currently the best on the team. Opponents are hitting just .167 off of him.
A DIFFERENT JAMES IN LA
Freshman first baseman/outfielder
James Dell'Amico, a Los Angeles, California native, is hitting .275 in 40 at-bats, cracking 11 hits (all singles) while scoring five runs and driving in five more.
KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY
Dell'Amico's father, Keven, was part of Pepperdine's 1992 National Championship baseball squad, the only Waves team to win it all in program history. James' uncle, Steven, also played for Pepperdine and is among the former Waves that have gone pro, having been drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies. James' sister Megan is also a Pepperdine graduate.
EUPER EXCITING
Casey Euper has also been tremendous on the hill for the Waves, boasting a team-best 0.64 ERA to pair with a 0.86 WHIP across 14.0 innings of work (four appearances, one start). He gave up just one earned run in his first collegiate start on Sunday 3/1 versus Yale.
WALK THIS WAY
Redshirt sophomore
Finley Buckner has shown his patience at the dish so far in 2026, leading the team with eight walks. He sports a strong .380 on-base percentage in addition to being hit by a pitch twice.
