STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's volleyball team (20-4, 12-1 WCC) went into the Alex G. Spanos Center and swept the Pacific Tigers (4-21, 0-13 WCC) on Saturday afternoon.
Pepperdine extended its winning streak to nine straight, while Pacific dropped its 19th in a row. Chloe Pravednikov and Ella Piskorz each had a team-best 10 kills while Mariia Nikol Dvornikova tallied nine. The Waves were phenomenal on defense, as Dvornikova, Raymond, Charis Kai, Pravednikov, Eliya Dev, and Laine Briggs all had at least five digs apiece.
Pepperdine completed the 2026 regular season road slate with a 10-2 overall record, the first time since 2002 that the Waves reached 10 or more overall road wins (11-3). The blue and orange also achieved a perfect 9-0 conference road record, the first time since 2003 (7-0) Pepperdine fulfilled such a feat.
"We have achieved one of our goals of being great on the road by going undefeated in conference, and going 9-0 for the first time ever!" said Head Coach Scott Wong after the match. "Proud of what we have done and what is ahead of us!!"
The second set took a different turn to start, as Pepperdine had just two kills in its first 11 attacks. Facing an early 2-5 deficit, the Waves turned the tide with a 6-0 run behind a Dev service ace and a sparkling defense that forced a trio of attack errors. Pacific would hang around for a while, but kills from Maggie Beauer and Dvornikova, in addition to a laser beam of a serve from Briggs, soon had Pepperdine leading by a touchdown at 15-9. The Waves had full control of the set after that and ran away with a 25-15 victory, smelling blood in the water with a 2-0 advantage.
The Tigers kicked Pepperdine in the mouth to start the third set, jumping out to a 4-1 lead. Pacific marked kills from Hannah Koester, Vanessa Zussino, and Adeline Sirbu to spark some momentum. That didn't last long as the Waves responded moments later with an 8-0 run, with Piskorz and Pravednikov hammering a combined four kills while Dev landed another pair of service aces. Holding a five-point lead at 11-6, the Tigers would not go away easily, getting a kill from Koester to pull within three at 15-12. However, Pravednikov and Dvornikova stepped up down the stretch, recording two kills each (combining for four of Pepperdine's final 11 points) as the Waves kept an arms' length and took down Pacific 25-18, and swept the Tigers 3-0.

Set one was all Waves. Pepperdine rolled to a 25-13 victory in the opening frame behind a suffocating offensive attack. Pravednikov, Piskorz, and Dvornikova each tallied four kills as the blue and orange recorded a collective hitting percentage of .520. Tristen Raymond played a large role in landing those kills, racking up 11 of her game-high 27 assists. The Tigers mustered only five kills, all from different players, as Pacific hit just .048 percent. The Tigers briefly had momentum towards the halfway mark of the set, mostly in part to five Pepperdine service errors, but the Waves cruised into set two leading 1-0.Irelynd said nuh uh ❌ 📺 | https://t.co/LKxTucXPiM 📊 | https://t.co/d6FDeCzRKN #MakeWaves | @PepperdineWaves https://t.co/4Po6V1J27f
