Men's Golf Selected First in WCC Preseason Poll; Three Waves Earn Preseason All-WCC Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Pepperdine men's golf was selected to finish first in the West Coast Conference (WCC) poll, announced today by the conference. In addition, a conference-high three Waves were named to the All-WCC Preseason Team.

Seniors Mahanth Chirravuri and Brady Siravo, and junior Willy Walsh were each named to the All-WCC Preseason Team.

Chirravuri currently sits at No. 3 in the Scoreboard individual rankings and No. 6 in the PGA TOUR University rankings. A returning All-American, Chirravuri was named WCC co-Golfer of the Year following his second straight All-WCC First Team campaign. He went on to earn the WCC Individual title and placed T-9th at the NCAA Tournament on his way to NCAA All-Tournament Team recognition. In his Pepperdine career, he's posted 14 top-10 finishes. His fall campaign was highlighted by a second place finish at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.

Siravo enters the spring season ranked No. 26 in the Scoreboard individual rankings and No. 24 in the PGA TOUR University rankings. A two-time reigning All-WCC First Team selection, Siravo earned his first collegiate victory this fall at the Sahalee Players Championship. With seven top-10 finishes in his Pepperdine career, he's posted a 72.77 scoring average through 106 rounds with the Waves.

Walsh sits at No. 53 in the Scoreboard individual rankings entering his junior campaign. Walsh has earned All-WC First Team honors in each of his first two seasons with the Waves, having posted a 71.95 scoring average in 2024-25. He's recorded five top-10 finishes in his career, with eight top-20s across 27 tournaments. His fall season was highlighted by a second-place finish at the Ben Hogan Collegiate, while posting a top-ten at The Invitational at The Honors Course.

The Waves look to build off last season's campaign which saw a 12th-place finish at NCAA Championships, after winning the 23rd WCC Championship in program history. Pepperdine currently stands at No. 15 in the Scoreboard Team Rankings following the fall season.

The Waves will begin the spring season Jan. 26-28, playing host to the Southwestern Invitational from North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.
