Pepperdine Swim and Dive Releases 2025-2026 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine Swim and Dive and head coach Ellie Monobe have announced the full schedule for the 2025-26 season. The reigning MPSF Champions return to the pool in October.

"We are excited for the addition of seven new schools to the MPSF and the additional travel competitions on our schedule this year" said Coach Ellie Monobe. "We are more than ready to take our talents on the road and compete against some WCC schools that we normally wouldn't see during the regular season."

After tuning up in the Blue vs. Orange intrasquad scrimmage (Sept. 27), competition begins at home in Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool for the annual Rodionoff Invite (Oct. 3-4). Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. on both days, with Nick Rodionoff being inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 4.

Less than a week later, the Waves remain on campus to host a single contest against San Diego State (Oct. 9) beginning at 10:30 a.m.

From there, Pepperdine will take to the road. They first travel to the MPSF Open Water Swimming Championship in Long Beach Calif. (Oct. 18). Then, they travel north to face Seattle for a two-day meet on Oct. 24-25.

In November, they will square off against a pair of University of California schools: UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego. The Gauchos and Tritons come to town on Nov. 15 for a swimming-only double duel meet.

Later in the month, Waves divers will stay local, heading downtown for USC's Trojan Diving Invitational on Nov. 20-22.

Meanwhile, the swim team travels to Boise, Idaho for the Northwest Collegiate Swimming Invitational. The event, hosted by the Idaho Vandals, takes place Nov. 21-23.

These concurrent events will be the last before the new year.

Three months since facing them earlier in the season, the Waves resume their season against San Diego State–this time at their facilities. In addition to the Aztecs, Pepperdine will also face DII Cal State East Bay in San Diego (Jan. 5).

Swim and dive closes out the regular season with a three-meet homestand in Malibu, Calif. Raleigh Runnels will host meets against Fresno State (Jan. 9-10), San Diego (Jan. 17), and Azusa Pacific (Jan. 24). Senior Day is set for the final meet of the regular season on the 24th.

The season concludes with the MPSF Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted on the campus of UTRGV. The finale will see the Waves take to the pool for four exciting days of competition with a chance to repeat as conference champions (Feb. 25-28).
