Women's Golf Announces 2025-26 Schedule

MALIBU, CALIF. – Pepperdine women's golf has released its full 2025-26 schedule, announced today by Head Coach Laurie Gibbs.

The slate sees three fall tournaments with five to follow in the spring before postseason play begins with the West Coast Conference Championship in April.

The Waves return four of the five members from the WCC runner-up lineup from 2024-25, as Pepperdine eventually advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the 26th consecutive season.

"We have an excellent tournament schedule and will be competing against the best teams in the country multiple times during the season," noted Gibbs. "The Annika Intercollegiate, Stanford Intercollegiate, Therese Hession Regional Challenge and Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational are four of the strongest fields of the year. Coach Kacey and I look forward to an outstanding 2025-26 season."

The Waves will open the fall campaign with a return trip to the Annika Intercollegiate at Royal Gold Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota from Sept. 8-10. Pepperdine is one of just two non-power four programs in the 12-team field.

Next up is a trip to Colorado for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic at Red Sky Golf Club. The tournament will take place from Sept. 22-24, as it marks the 16th straight season with Pepperdine in the field. The Waves have won the event six times in total (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2022 and 2023) while placing second in last year's tournament.

The fall schedule winds down with a trip up the coast to Palo Alto to compete in the Stanford Intercollegiate from Oct. 17-19 at Stanford Golf Course. The competition will be hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice. It marks the 20th time in which Pepperdine will be in the field for the tournament, having recorded five top-5 finishes all-time. The Waves previously won the 2002 NCAA West Regional at Stanford Golf Course.

The spring campaign will begin for the fourth straight season at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge from Palos Verdes Golf Club (Calif.), hosted by Ohio State University, from Feb. 1-3. The Waves have a decorated history at the event, having won the team title on three occasions (2003, 2005 & 2007) while boasting three individual winners (Katherine Hull 2003, Misun Cho 2007 & Lisa McCloskey 2010). This year will mark Pepperdine's 23rd appearance in the field.

The Waves will then co-host with UCLA the 14th edition of the Bruin Wave Invitational, with competition set for Feb. 23-24 at Valencia Country Club. Pepperdine has previously won the tournament in 2012 while seeing an individual winner in Danielle Kang in 2010. The Waves finished third in a strong field at the event in 2025, while Jeneath Wong logged a top-ten individual finish.

Staying in California for the next two tournaments, the Waves will head to Fort Washington Country Club next for the Fresno State Classic from March 2-3 over spring break. The squad will then head to the Yale Invitational West, which will be contested at the PGA West Norman Course in La Quinta from March 9-10.

The final tournament of the regular season sends the Waves down south for the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, hosted by the University of Texas. The two-day tournament will take place on March 16-17 at the University of Texas Golf Club.

The WCC Championship will then take place on April 25-27 at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif. The Waves are 21-time WCC champions, having most recently won the conference in 2024, as they will look to improve on the second-place finish in 2025.

The NCAA Regionals will take place from May 11-13, with Michigan, North Carolina, North Alabama, Stanford, Florida State and Baylor set to play host to the six regional sites. The Waves will be seeking their 27th straight NCAA postseason appearance as 72 teams will make the field between conference champion automatic qualifiers and at-large teams.

The collegiate season will culminate at the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Champions Course in Carlsbad, Calif., from May 22-27.

In addition to the team schedule, the Waves will send athletes around the globe for the top amateur competitions in the world. Eunseo Choi (New Zealand) and Jeneath Wong (Malaysia) are both slated to represent their countries in the World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore from Oct. 1-4. The spring will also see the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP) in New Zealand from Feb. 12-15, where Wong is the reigning WAAP champion from 2025. This will lead into the Augusta National Women's Amateur in Georgia from April 1-4.
