LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. – Former Pepperdine men's golf standout William Mouw earned his first career PGA Tour victory on Sunday, firing a final-round 9-under 61 to win the 2025 ISCO Championship.
Mouw entered the final round seven shots off the lead and surged to the top of the leaderboard at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky, finishing at 10-under-par 270 for the tournament. His bogey-free 61 on Sunday marked the lowest round of his career on TOUR and the lowest final round from a PGA tournament winner since Ludvig Åberg at the 2023 RSM Classic. The win came by one stroke over fellow tour rookie Paul Peterson.
With the victory, Mouw becomes the third former Wave across the past three seasons to claim a PGA TOUR win, joining Sahith Theegala (2023 Fortinet Championship) and Joe Highsmith (2025 Cognizant Classic).Â
The win also earns Mouw a PGA TOUR membership exemption through 2027 along with a spot in both the 2026 PGA Championship and 2026 PLAYERS Championship.Â
A four-time All-American and a key contributor to Pepperdine's 2021 NCAA Championship winning squad, Mouw wrapped up a decorated collegiate career in 2023 before turning professional. He earned his PGA TOUR card last year after finishing in the top-30 on the points list on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour.
During his time in Malibu, Mouw helped the Waves to three consecutive NCAA Championship appearances and consistently ranked among the nation's top collegiate golfers, totaling 19 career top-10 finishes. He also represented the United States in elite amateur competitions, including the Walker Cup and Arnold Palmer Cup.
The win earned Mouw 300 FedEx Cup points, moving him up 70 spots in the standings up to 83rd place for the season.
