Justin Rubin was selected to the West Coast Conference preseason team, the conference announced Thursday.
Rubin led the team offensively last year with a batting average of .333 , including a .448 on base percentage. The Pennsylvania native originally came from Virginia last season, where he also posted a batting average of .333 his freshman year.
The WCC released all-preseason teams in conjunction with the coaches poll for the 2025 season. Pepperdine was selected to finish seventh in the conference, slated between LMU and San Francisco. San Diego, who won it all in Vegas last year was chosen to repeat this year, followed closely by Portland, who also received a vote to take the WCC title.
