MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine Swimming leaves southern California for the first time this season to take on the University of Seattle in a dual meet. They will face the Redhawks on Friday, Oct. 24 at 4:00 p.m. with the meet continuing on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 9:30 a.m.
"We are very excited to meet up with the Redhawks this week," said head coach Ellie Monobe. "In the midst of our heavier training block, we know going in we will be a little more tired than we were at Rodionoff, but looking forward to the challenge."

Seattle has completed one dual meet this season—a 65-197 loss to Idaho. The team begins their first campaign as an affiliate member in the Big West's newly-relaunched sponsorship of the sport. They previously competed in the WAC.
This will be the inaugural meeting in the pool between the Waves and Redhawks.
Last week the blue and orange sent two swimmers to the MPSF Open Water Swimming Championships in Long Beach, Calif.
Emma Guglielmello showed out, earning 13th from a field of 76 in the women's 5000 free (1:04:46.00).
Ansley Halbach also provided the Waves with good representation. She finished 31st with a time of 1:07:13.00.
Pepperdine's next swim meet will see them play host to UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, Nov. 15 at noon. The divers return to action for the annual Trojan Diving Invitational—a three day event in downtown spanning Nov. 20 through the 22nd.

Pepperdine swimming & diving has a rich history spanning four decades, having posted top-five finishes in its conference in 32 of 39 seasons. The Waves have captured three conference championships in the past four seasons under Ellie Monobe, its first three conference titles, winning its first MPSF Championship in 2025 after joining the conference the season prior. In 38 seasons in the PCSC, the Waves saw 48 individual champions and 20 PCSC Swimmer or Diver of the Year awards. Andreea Trufasu stands as the program's lone Olympian, having competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
