RECAP
The two squads traded buckets early until the 12-minute mark where they remained tied at 16-all and didn't see a field goal until around four minutes later when
Dovydas Butka scored on an Odum dish. The Waves never trailed past that moment as Todorovic, Olvera and Odum all took turns putting the ball in the rim while keeping the Tigers to just 21.4% from three-point range. Todorovic would hit his fourth three of the half with just seconds to go, leading Pepperdine into the locker rooms with his 20 points and a 12-point Waves lead.
The second half saw Pepperdine fair even better from a shooting standpoint as Olvera and Todorovic hit back-to-back threes to extend the lead as the Waves didn't slow down. The highlight of the night happened around the 14-minute mark, as Odum eyed a rim-cutting
Boubacar Coulibaly and lobbed up an alley-oop from nearly halfcourt. Coulibaly caught the ball and slammed it home with ease to get the Waves bench out of their seats.
Danilo Dozic eventually wanted in on the action, nailing two threes with eight minutes to go as Pepperdine rode home its 87-70 win in Stockton.
