MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's swim and dive program will host Azusa Pacific in the Waves final regular season meet of the year at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Saturday's meet will start with 1-meter and 3-meter diving before transitioning into the senior celebration. Swimming will begin after the ceremony.
SENIOR DAY — Seven seniors -

Lexie Dietemeyer,
Lindsay Hemming,
Lexie Martin,
Eleanor Mashkovich and
Ariana Yeh will be honored in between diving and swimming. The celebration will begin shortly after the conclusion of both diving events.

PARKING/ENTRANCE — Parking is limited in the Firestone Fieldhouse lot as SoCal Gas operates their incident command center. Additional parking can be found on the street or at the lot between
Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool and Eddy D. Field Baseball Stadium. The university will run shuttles periodically before and after the game. Admission to the event is free. Because of limited bleacher seating, fans may choose to bring a blanket or chair to sit on the hillside.
GAME DONATIONS — Fans are encouraged to bring chapsticks/lip balm, preservative free eye drops, throat lozenges or hard candies and sunscreen to the game for donations to Malibu Urgent Care who supplies these items to those affected by the fires.
AZUSA PACIFIC — Pepperdine is a perfect 5-0 all-time in dual meets against Azusa Pacific, having beaten the Cougars in each of the last five seasons. Azusa Pacific is 2-0 in dual meets on the year with wins over Biola and Westmont.

AWARDS — The Waves have tallied four conference weekly awards this season. Most recently,
AJ Adams earned the MPSF Athlete of the Week award after winning two events and helping the Waves defeat New Mexico for the first time in program history in a double dual meet in San Diego last weekend.
Madeline Wheeler earned MPSF Athlete of the Week honors on November 18 after becoming the sixth fastest Wave in program history to complete the 1650 free. She finished her swim in 17:39.57, which was also a season-best time for the Waves. Wheeler also clocked a 5:18.83 in the 500 free, good for the seventh fastest time by a Wave during the 2024-25 campaign.
Alexandra Browne garnered the MPSF Athlete of the Week award on October 29. Prior to the honor, Browne won all four of her events in Pepperdine's dual meet against Westmont at
Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool. She helped the Waves 400 medley and 200 free relay teams take first, while also winning both of her individual races.
Vivian Vallely earned the MPSF Athlete of the Week award on October 8. Highlighted by her second place finish with a score of 283.50 in the 3-meter competition on Friday, Vallely qualified for NCAA Zones in the event for the second year in a row. She then earned another second place finish as she totaled 254.95 points in the 1-meter competition on Saturday.
LAST TIME IN THE POOL — Pepperdine fell to San Diego 922-895 in a dual meet at USD Sports Center Pool last Friday. Despite the result, six Waves took first in their respective individual events:
Sydney Abild (100 breast, 1:05.04),
Ansley Halbach (400 IM, 4:33.48),
Lindsay Hemming (500 free, 5:06.88),
Nora Rabe (200 breast, 2:20.85),
Emme Spevak (200 fly, 2:08.96) and
Sophia Ware (100 fly, 56.31).
Additionally, Rabe and
Mollie Cho respectively earned the third and seventh spot on the Waves all-time top-10 list in the 200 breast. Rabe notched a time of 2:20.85 and Cho clocked a 2:22.27 in the event.
ROSTER BREAKDOWN — The Waves return all three of their All-MPSF second team honorees from last year:
Alexandra Browne (50 free),
Kylie Taylor (100 back) and
Amanda Wong (Platform). Pepperdine also boasts three swimmers who currently hold individual records - Browne (50 free, 100 IM), Taylor (100 back) and
Lexi Haymart (500 free). Additionally, the team brings back everyone from last year's record-setting 200 free and 800 free relay teams in Browne,
Layla Busquets,
Anna Ryan, Taylor,
AJ Adams,
Lexi Fok,
Ansley Halbach and
Lindsay Hemming. The complete breakdown of the roster is seven seniors, fourteen juniors, nine sophomores and five freshman, which includes 28 returners and seven newcomers.
