
Men's Basketball Adds Arizona Tip-Off to 2024-25 Slate

TEMPE, Ariz. – Another portion of the Pepperdine men's basketball program's 2024-25 schedule has been revealed as the squad will compete in the Arizona Tip-Off during Thanksgiving week, Intersport Basketball announced on Wednesday.

The multi-team event features two divisions- Cactus and Desert- with each hosting four teams to play in a semifinal-style tournament. Held in Tempe, Ariz. at Arizona State's Mullett Arena, the Waves will participate in the Desert Division alongside Bowling Green, New Mexico State and Weber State through November 29-30.

Pepperdine will tip-off against New Mexico State on November 29 set for 12:30 p.m. as the 12th installment in a series where the Waves lead 7-4 all-time. The pair's most recent result came in 2009-10 when the Aggies ran away with a 78-72 win in Malibu. Against Bowling Green, Pepperdine stands 0-2 after two games in the late 1940s. Weber State also leads the series with the Waves (5-2) with the most recent game resulting in a 72-68 Pepperdine loss during the 2017-18 season.
