Baseball Announces Update to Coaching Staff

MALIBU, Calif. - As the 2024 season comes to a close, Rick Hirtensteiner will conclude his tenure with the Pepperdine baseball team after 26 years on the coaching staff, including nine as head coach.Â

"We are immensely grateful to Coach Hirtensteiner for his 30 years of service to Pepperdine as a player, assistant coach, and head coach." said Tim Perrin, senior vice president for strategic implementation. "Coach Hirtensteiner loved our student-athletes and has always represented our institution with class and integrity. We wish him and his family the best in the future."
