MALIBU - For the seventh time in program history, the 22nd-ranked and seventh-seeded Pepperdine women's soccer team was awarded NCAA Championship First Round hosting duties and will invite Cal to Malibu Saturday, November 16.
Set for a 12 p.m. kick-off, the game will be broadcast on the ESPN+ platform and tickets are available for purchase at this link. Bleacher seating is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
It will be the 14th ticket punched for head coach Tim Ward and the Waves with the last berth coming in 2021. During that run, Pepperdine reached the Sweet 16 before bowing out to eventual champion Florida State.
The Waves completed the 2024 regular season as West Coast Conference co-champions after going 6-1-3 in league play and 12-3-5 overall. At home, Pepperdine stands 6-2-2 this season.
