WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – The Pepperdine men's golf team is through two rounds at the Southwestern Invitational and will head into the final round on Wednesday at the par-71 North Ranch Country Club in 11
th with a score of 571 (284-287). This is the 45
th year of the tournament and the 10
th year the Waves have hosted or co-hosted.
Ohio State, having shot 10-under overall through two rounds, has the lead heading into the final day. Though Texas Tech, UNLV and Colorado are all only two-shots behind in second-place. Colorado had the best round of the day, having shot 14-under collectively today. Pepperdine is one-stroke behind San Jose State and 13-shots out of the lead heading into the final day.
Mahanth Chirravuri is tied for 15
th to lead the Waves, highlighting the second round with an eagle on the 15
th hole. He is only three-shots out of the top-10 and eight-shots away from the lead. Tucker Clark from Colorado leads all with a 132 (69-63).
PLAYER SCORES
- Sophomore Mahanth Chirravuri (Chandler, Ariz.) is tied for 15th with a 140 (70-70). He marked a birdie and an eagle on the back nine to start the day, including the latter on five bogeyless holes before the turn. He had three birdies on the front nine, including his final hole to finish the day. He's amassed seven birdies overall.
- Sophomore Brady Siravo (Sacramento, Calif.) is tied for 28th with a two-round total of 143 (70-73). He was strong on his first nine holes with a birdie on the 15th and not a single bogey, but a bogey and double-bogey plagued the middle of his final nine to close the day.
- Sophomore Joshua Koo (Cerritos, Calif.) is tied for 41st with a score of 145 (72-73). He rallied from a double-bogey and bogey to start the day with three birdies on the next five-consecutive holes. Though he had another birdie on the second hole, a trio of bogeys would impact his final. He finished by shooting for par his final four holes.
- Freshman William Walsh (San Mateo, Calif.) rallied from his first round to shoot even par in the second for a two-day score of 146 (75-71). He posted three birdies in the round today and is tied for 46th.
- Freshman Kristoffer Kuvaas (Houston, Texas) is tied for 55th with a score of 148 (72-76). He had one birdie on hole six.

Pepperdine will tee off at hole 10 beginning at 8:22 a.m. and will be paired with San Jose State and USC.
