Box Score 2 Providence, R.I. – The #11 Pepperdine men's water polo team (4-0) wrapped up their east coast trip at the Bruno Classic by beating #18 Harvard 16-11. Later in the afternoon, they had a dominating second half performance against Wagner College, leading to a 15-7 victory.

BIG WAVES
- Senior attacker Christian Hosea (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente HS) had a hat trick in the first game of the day.
- Sophomore attacker Adam Csapo (Budapest, Hungary/BME International Secondary School) scored for the Waves in both games.
- Junior center, Matty Walsh (Laguna Beach, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic HS) had seven goals on the day and led the Waves in scoring in both games.

The Waves jumped out to an early 6-3 lead after the first quarter led by
Christian Hosea, who had two goals in the period . Harvard battled back in the second quarter, but Hosea added another goal en route to a hat trick to keep Pepperdine in front 7-5 going into the break. Stifling defense from the Waves, led by goalie
Antonio Knez held the Crimson scoreless in the third quarter. Pepperdine took a six goal advantage into the final period. Two goals from
Matty Walsh in the fourth quarter helped the Waves hold on to beat the Crimson 16-11. Walsh led the way for Pepperdine with four goals, and a total of eight players scored in the game.

Clay Kaneko got the scoring going, but two goals from Wagner gave the Seahawks a 2-1 lead after the first quarter. Pepperdine and Wagner battled back-and-forth throughout the second quarter, and a late goal by
Sandor Gal made it 5-4 in favor of the Seahawks. Two quick goals including the go-ahead goal from
Matty Walsh gave Pepperdine a 6-5 advantage to begin the third period. After a nine goal third quarter, Pepperdine held a 13-6 lead. The Waves cruised through the fourth period and won the game 15-7. Walsh led the way with three goals, and a total of 12 players scored in the contest.
