SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The Pepperdine women's tennis team ended the Battle in the Bay tournament on a high note, as Savannah Broadus won the main doubles title and Anna Campana won the singles consolation final on Sunday.

Broadus' (Carrollton, Texas) win marks the third straight year she has won the main doubles title at the Battle in the Bay tournament. She and Oklahoma State's Lucia Peyre beat 3-seed Angelica Blake and Connie Ma of Stanford 8-5 to earn the victory.
 
The junior has won the doubles title at this event with three different singles partners. Last year, she and teammate Janice Tjen (Jakarta, Indonesia) won the title, plus she and Pepperdine alumna Anastasia Iamachkine won the doubles title in Broadus' freshman year.

As for Campana (Hillsborough, Calif.), she made quick work of Fresno State's Mariia Vyshkina. The graduate senior dispatched Vyshkina 6-2, 6-1 in order to end her weekend in the Bay Area with a 4-1 record in singles.
 
Pepperdine's wins mark the third straight year the Waves have won doubles and singles titles at the Battle in the Bay. Last year, Janice Tjen took home the singles title and also won the doubles title with Broadus. In 2021, Broadus won the singles title and won the aforementioned doubles title with Iamachkine.
