MALIBU, CALIF. - The Pepperdine men's basketball squad will join five other Division I programs for a multi-team event in Henderson, Nevada for the Ball Dawgs Classic held November 21, 22 and 24 at the Dollar Loan Center, bdG Sports announced on Tuesday.

The Waves will meet up with Indiana State, New Mexico, Rice, Toledo and UC Irvine just 15 minutes outside of Las Vegas during the week before Thanksgiving. Matchups will be announced at a later date. 

bdG Sports- a sports event management and public relations firm- has partnered with sports content provider Ball Dawgs to put on the event. The Dollar Loan Center, which is the home of the NBA G League Ignite and the Henderson Silver Knights (the Vegas Golden Knights' affiliate), will serve as the host arena with a capacity of over 5,500.

Pepperdine returns seven letter-winners from last season, including starters Houston Mallette and Jevon Porter. Six players join the Waves this year with two transfers and four true freshmen entering their first season in Malibu.
