Men's Tennis Match Against Oklahoma Declared No Contest

MALIBU, California – On a rainy and foggy afternoon after the match was initially delayed two hours, the Pepperdine men's tennis program played nearly three hours of intense tennis with Oklahoma before inclement conditions and travel considerations forced the match to be declared a no-contest.

Oklahoma led 2-1 when the match was called.

Oklahoma took doubles, while each team claimed three first sets in singles. The teams split the two singles matches that completed. Linus Carlsson Halldin (Stockholm, Sweden) won the first dual singles match of his career for the Waves' only point of the match, defeating Luis Alvarez 6-3, 6-1 on court six. The Waves held leads in all four remaining matches when the competition was called.
