PEPPERDINE 2024-25: Had a memorable curtain call by earning All-WCC Second Team honors in singles and doubles ... Posted a 17-16 overall record in singles and went 20-13 in doubles ... Clinched Pepperdine's wins over No. 9 Columbia, No. 24 Arizona State and the Waves' first win at UCLA since 2006, among others ... Clinched the doubles point over San Diego in the WCC Championships with Maxi Homberg ... Also clinched Pepperdine's WCC semifinal win over Santa Clara after helping clinch the doubles point ... Beat No. 59 Hugo Hashimoto in straight sets to help Pepperdine upset No. 9 Columbia ... Clinched Pepperdine's 4-2 win at UCLA with a 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-6 (3) win over No. 63 Emon van Loben Sels ... Named WCC Singles Player of the Week after clinching Pepperdine's win at No. 24 Arizona State with a three-set win over Constantinos Koshis ... PEPPERDINE 2023-24: Was a WCC Honorable Mention selection in singles and doubles ... Posted a 21-13 overall record in singles and a 16-13 overall doubles record ... Primarly played at the second and third singles positions, plus the top doubles position with George Davis ... Opened the fall season with eight-consecutive singles wins, including a 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-2 in over #54 Alex Petrov of Illinois ... Earned an at-large berth to the ITA Fall National Championships with George Davis ... Beat #113 Nicolas Kotzen of Columbia 6-4, 6-3 for his first ranked singles win of the spring (3/13) ... With George Davis, upset #22 Max Westphal and Nicolas Kotzen of Columbia 6-3 for their first win over a ranked doubles team (3/13) ... Beat Cooper Williams and Ronan Jachuck of Harvard 6-3 two days later to earn his first WCC Doubles Team of the Week honors ...Clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 (0) win over Peter Alam and Justas Trainauskas over Pacific in the regular-season finale (4/21) ... Also beat Tiago Silva 7-6 (8), 6-3 to help the Waves sweep the Tigers in the WCC Semifinals (4/26).

PEPPERDINE 2022-23: Played in 14 dual matches, including both of Pepperdine's postseason matches, playing primarily on court six ... In doubles, had a 16-6 overall record and a 14-4 record with Pietro Fellin ... With Fellin, helped Pepperdine clinch the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Jim Hendrikx and Han-Chih Lin of #51 Washington ... Went 2-1 in West Coast Conference play in singles ... Finished the season winning six of the last seven WCC doubles matches with Fellin ... Helped the Waves clinch the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Santa Clara's Santiago Hinojosa and Mann Shah in the first round of the WCC Tournament ... Clinched for Pepperdine in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against #39 UTSA with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Jackson Ross ... Earned a spot on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PEPPERDINE 2021-22: Won the doubles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in the fall with Daniel De Jonge … Redshirted in the dual season and did not see action … Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete … Earned spot on the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
JUNIORS: Won U18 junior nationals in singles in 2018 and 2020 … Won the same tournament playing in team dual format in 2020 … Career-high juniors ITF ranking of #125.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in economics ... Son of Magnus Carlsson and Sophie Halldin … Has three siblings (Timothy, Jesper and Oscar) … Won U18 title with his younger brother.
 
FAVORITES: Favorite professional athlete is Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan) because “it’s inspiring to see someone rise to the top from the absolute bottom and hearing about the struggles he had as a small kid to later be one of the greatest athletes to play the game. I think he has a very special mentality like few others.” .… Favorite professional team is Hammarby IF (soccer) … Favorite book is “The Hunger Games” … Favorite movie is The Dark Knight … Favorite TV show is The Office … Favorite musical artist is Avicii … Favorite food is kebabpizza … Favorite sport besides tennis is golf.
 
CHOSE PEPPERDINE BECAUSE: “I felt that Pepperdine was the perfect place for me in many ways. My first contact with Tassilo and Adam was also a big reason for my commitment. I believed we shared a lot of thoughts regarding the game but also in a more general perspective. But what made me decide was also what I heard from previous students about the experience.”
