MALIBU, California – Four members of the Pepperdine women's swim and dive program received College Sports Communicators academic all-district honors, as announced by CSC on Tuesday.

Paige Tattersall and
Jordan Williams received recognition for their achievements both in the classroom and in the pool.
Martin (Keller, Texas, Keller HS) became the first Wave to be named a CSCAA Scholar All-American in 2022. She also competed at the NCAA Zone Diving competition, becoming the first to be selected since 2012. This season, she was an All-Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference first team performer in the 3-meter diving competition.
Sanchez (Highland, Calif. East Redlands Valley HS) capped off her Pepperdine career by leading the Waves to back-to-back PCSC team titles. The senior has been named All-PCSC first team 19 times, holds seven school records and was named the national 2022 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar for women's swim and dive.
Tattersall (Granite Bay, Calif./Granite Bay HS) has twice been named to the PCSC All-Academic first team and has garnered eight All-PCSC first team honors. She also helped set the school record in the 400 free relay in 2021.
Williams (Nashville, Tenn./Ensworth HS) has twice been a Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete and was PCSC All-Academic first team in 2022.
To be considered for all-district honors, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's meets and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Pepperdine wraps up its season next week, as divers
Amanda Wong and
Delainey Pisaruk head to Washington for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships on Monday and Wednesday, March 6 and 8, while a host of Waves will go to Elkhart, Indiana, for the CSCAA National Invitational Championships from Thursday through Saturday, March 9-11. The Waves won their second consecutive PCSC team title in February.
