Porter, Ajayi and Mallette both finished the half with 10 or more points apiece, and the Waves led 42-22 heading into the break.

In the second stanza, Pepperdine completed a 13-0 run with an Ajayi jumper that began with three minutes to go in the first half. Coulibaly earned two of his three blocks in the latter half and the Waves stretched their lead to 41 with five minutes to go.
