Â
QUOTABLES
"Once again, this teams capacity to push and challenge themselves never ceases to amaze me," head coach Ellie Monobe said. "This weekend, we not only performed with a lot of grit but a lot of heart.  From competing in tower for the first time ever to defeating WCC rivals in final touches, our determination and commitment to the process has shown and I am more than proud to be a wave."
Â
"I'm very happy with diving overall this weekend," diving coach Monique Demaisip said. "Vivian took the top spot in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter competitions and earned a spot at the NCAA Zones. We posted solid finishes in the top-12 both days to secure a lead over USD's divers. We've been working on details and I'm definitely seeing improvements off the boards. Competing in a tower event for the first time in program history at the Trojan Diving Invitational, it was great to see all the divers looking sharp getting their new platform lists off today. This is a completely new event for over half of the team, and we've just started training tower at the beginning of the season, so I couldn't be more proud. I'm excited for what's to come this season."
