Broadus Finishes First Day at the ITA All-American Championships

CARY, N.C. — Pepperdine women's tennis junior Savannah Broadus finished her first match in the ITA All-American Championships main singles draw on Wednesday morning.

Broadus (Carrollton, Texas), who is the #23 singles player in the ITA polls, faced a tough opponent in #10 Amelia Rajecki of NC State during the first round. Although Broadus fell 6-3, 6-4, her time at the ITA All-American Championships is not over. She will move into the consolation draw, where she will face #62 Maria Aguiar of Boston College.

Her match is set to start tomorrow at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. local time
