Waves Prep for San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic

MALIBU, Calif. — This week, the Pepperdine men's tennis team will compete in one final tournament before the ITA fall circuit takes place. George Davis and Photos Photiades will head south to the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic, hosted by the University of San Diego at the Hogan Tennis Center from Oct. 13-15.
The matches will be livestreamed via TrackTennis. Start times have yet to be determined as of press time.
SCOUTING THE WAVES
Playing in his third collegiate tennis tournament, true freshman Photos Photiades will face off against even more West Coast Conference competition this weekend in San Diego. The Cyprus native has been in several three-set matches in his young collegiate career, yet will look for his first victory this weekend.
George Davis will make his return after a two-week hiatus from his last matches at the ITA All-American Championships. In Tulsa, the graduate senior from London, England went 1-1 in three-set matches during the pre-qualifying singles draw. Davis has notched two singles wins in the fall season thus far.
