MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's swim and dive program will host the third annual Rodionoff Invite this upcoming weekend at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool.
Meet 2: Rodionoff Invite | Friday, Oct. 13 |10 a.m. | Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool | Malibu, Calif.
Â
Meet 3: Rodionoff Invite | Saturday, Oct. 14 |10 a.m. | Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool | Malibu, Calif.
Â
Diving starts at 10 a.m., while swimming takes place at 11:30 a.m. both days.
Â
Both days will be streamed on ESPN+ (subscription required), and links will be provided on PepperdineWaves.com. Admission to the event is free. Because of limited bleacher seating, fans may choose to bring a blanket or chair to sit on the hillside. Fans can park in the Firestone Fieldhouse lot. Parking is limited, so plan to arrive early.
Â
Teams competing with the Waves at the Division I level in the Rodionoff Invite include PCH Cup rival Loyola Marymount, and San Diego. Non-DI programs also making the trip to Malibu include Concordia University, Azusa Pacific, Westmont, Cal Lutheran and The Master's.
Â
Last week, Pepperdine opened the season with a home dual meet against San Diego State. Though the Waves had a strong showing in the relay events, the Aztecs won the meet.
Â
Following the Rodionoff Invite, Pepperdine will host Illinois on Thursday, Oct. 26. Prior to this dual meet, Tay Thomas will compete in the MPSF Open Water Championships in Long Beach, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 21.
