QUOTABLE
Head coach
Ellie Monobe said: "It was a great start for the Waves today. In our team meeting we talked about setting the tone in the first couple of events to dictate how the rest of the meet would go and our girls stepped up. It was huge for our divers to go 1-2-3 as that really set us up for success moving into our relay. This is one of our fastest relays here (in the 200 medley relay) and it's awesome to see that group of girls improving each week. Our 500 freestyle swimmers showed our depth. A huge shoutout goes to senior
Paige Tattersall who has one more dual 500 left this season. It's been cool to watch her put it together, have faith in the training and back it up with some racing. Our freshman duo of AJ (Adams) and Charli (Sunahara) racing it out in the 200 IM is always fun to see. Our 800 free relay also put up a valiant effort going second and third. We're very pleased and looking forward to tomorrow."
