With two outs, Masino sent a single to left to advance Walczykowski to second base. With a 2-0 count, Peck went yard out to left center and added to the Pepperdine lead and made it 5-1. Ryan Johnson (Tempe, Ariz./Seton Catholic HS) led off the top of the fifth inning with a walk. Winaker smacked a double down the right-field line that scored Johnson to make it 6-1.
